Every year there are new regulations and rules for electric contractors and homeowners.  Here are some for 2010:  

• Tamperproof receptacles now required throughout home on new projects.
• Arc fault circuits now required throughout home on new projects.
• Grounding block now required in metering areas for other utilities connections. ie Cable Co and Telephone Co
• The federal government will be lifting the rate cap on PECO Energy utility bills (January 2011). Our costs will be skyrocketing.
